What Happens in Vegas?

Bill and I went to Vegas again this year for Bill's annual ARMRIT Conference. Four days filled with lots of fun and libations. We had the chance to attend a lovely reception at the Stirling Club at the exclusive Turnbury Club the night we arrived. Bill saw his old instructor and college placement director. Good times. We caught a Cirque Du Soleil show called Ka'. It was a martial arts influenced show that had a stage, costumes and moves that blew us away. The music was beautiful too, I took it upon myself to by the sound track that I am listening to right now!
We walked the strip and took cool pictures of artsy stuff and did not see everything. Bill really liked the water and light show at the Belligago, and I was in awwww with all the chandeliers everywhere! The Hard Rock was a real treat for any guy that like to play black jack at the bar and watch go-go dancers dancing the pole? Needless to say.... Bill played that game for quite awhile.... too funny. I did learn some new dance moves! Tisha and Vini were in town for Tisha's 50th birthday! Happy Birthday Tisha! she looks great! We had dinner at the Mirage where they were staying. We were joined by her brother and his family, and Tisha's mom and auntie. This restaurant was called Samba's. They kept bringing about 8 -10 different types of meats out along with an assortment of yummy side dishes. A Brazilian theme and all the food had great flavor. We topped our trip of with a night cap with the Jourdain's and the following day with a long stroll along the strip. Oh yeah... Bill gambled.... I guess he did not win otherwise we would be in Bora Bora right now!

~HillBilly Ball!~

Our boat club had yet another fantastic party! This one was "The Hillbilly Ball". Bill and I along with our friends Dan and Sandy were the Still Tenders for the evening. Pouring some great moonshine and keeping the keg beer flowing was great fun! Sandy was named Ellie Maybe and I was Ellie Maye-Not. Best darn beer slingers in Sarasota I tell ya.... Bill and Dan kept the crowd at a comfortable roar keeping the moonshine filled to the brim of each mayo jar.

My sister Cindy was visiting on vacation and had a blast dancing with all the kids for the evening along with my brother Scott. I think she won second place for her original outfit. She did look might purty. The night ended with the best out of three shooting bee-bee guns at the floating cow balloons attached to the boats. Dan was the winner. What a proud moment@#*&~

There was a lot of great home cookin and a great band to top off the night. I think everyone had a blast! I know we did.....
